The administrative unit
The administrative unit is responsible for providing qualified administrative support to the Department of Chemistry such as HR-administration, financial management, communication issues, education administration (undergraduate education in chemistry at the Faculty of Science), joint purchasing function, overall administration of LUCAT, IT support and management support.
The administrative unit is also responsible for common service functions at Kemicentrum such as the caretaker's office, fault reporting, KC Housing and providing support in the work with enviromental health and safety issues and construction coordination.
The unit also handles the purchase of common service functions at Kemicentrum, such as cleaning, waste management and external agreements.
